Don't miss our 2008 Annual Garden Party on September 13!

Monthly Board Meetings
Want to get involved or just see what we do? Our Board of Directors meetings are open to the public, and are regularly attended by non-board members. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:15 p.m. at the law school at the University of Colorado at Boulder (southwest corner of the CU campus; take Regent Drive off Broadway or Colorado Avenue, south on Kittredge Loop).
Please contact our Chapter secretary to confirm meeting date, time and location and to let us know if you would like to have an item placed on the meeting agenda.

Annual Garden Party - September 13, 2008
Meet ACLU of Colorado staff, activists and special guests, including Cathy Hazouri, the ACLU of CO executive director and Taylor Pendergrass, the ACLU of CO staff attorney. Come learn about national, state and Boulder County ACLU activities, enjoy yummy hors d’oeuvres and adult beverages, greet old friends and make new friends. Our only fundraiser of the year…rain or shine...bring a friend!
Suggested donation: $10 (or more) per person

Annual Chapter Meeting
Our Annual Meeting for all Boulder County ACLU members is also open to the public. It is usually held in lieu of the April Chapter Board meeting. A brief business meeting, including nomination of candidates for election to the Chapter Board, is followed by an informative program on a current civil liberties issue.
Recent topics have been, “First Amendment Rights and Colorado's Amendment 41," "Free Speech Under Attack,” “Civil Liberties & Family Ties,” “Civil Liberties@War,” "Civil Rights Under Fire-Then and Now," "Student Rights - or Students Wronged?", "Schools and Prayer: An Unholy Alliance?" and "Technology and Privacy." Panelists have included elected officials and prominent members of the legal, business and academic sectors, representing diverse points of view.
