Description: This lawsuit asserts that a Denver police officer violated the Fourth Amendment by obtaining a groundless warrant for the Plaintiff’s arrest on the basis of an affidavit containing false statements and critical omissions. As a result, the ACLU’s client—who had no criminal record and had never been arrested—was falsely arrested and jailed for an incident with which she had no no connection whatsoever.
