Where do Colorado’s young professionals stand on freedom? The ACLU of Colorado wants to know – in a forum designed for people age 25 to 45.
The Young Professionals Group is a NEW education program dedicated to keeping you informed and listening to your ideas and concerns. We launched in March 2006 and already 200 young professionals have attended these special events in Denver – with more each month. Our goal is to inform and engage you of our efforts to protect, defend and extend our cherished freedoms.
Due to the enormous interest for the program in Denver, Boulder and Colorado Springs have launched their own ACLU Young Professionals Groups.
Past Meeting Pics
OK, so we don't always remember to bring a camera. Suffice it to say that last month (June 20) at Artists on Santa Fe, you missed ACLU Legal Director Mark Silverstein discussing the Denver Spy Files. May's meeting at the Pirate Art Gallery featured State Representative Terrance Carroll leading an incredible discussion about citizenship and immigration from the perspective of the 150th anniversary of the Dred Scott decision. Check out the April 18 evening with NARAL Pro Choice Colorado Deputy Director Toni Panetta.

Boulderites enjoyed ACLU Staff Attorney Taylor Pendergrass's compelling lecture on "Punishments that don't fit the crime: Tasers, Pot and the Police." Click here for pics.
