The American Civil Liberties Union Foundation of Colorado welcomes involvement from young people who are interested in understanding and preserving their freedoms and liberties.

Our mission for the Youth Education Program (YEP) is to provide the resources and support to encourage Colorado students to better understand their civil liberties. We offer a comprehensive student rights guide, as well as support in starting ACLU clubs at high schools. YEP offers opportunities to high school students to write, take photos, create cartoon panels, enter national contests, local contests, and win cash for themselves!

The volunteers on the education committee of the Colorado ACLU oversee the Youth Education Program and assist with programs and activities at each club.
