The Festival of Rights

This year we’re expanding our Festival of Rights to give kids and parents many more chances to have fun and learn about their country. We’re adding 15 new fun, educational games and inviting dozens other non-profits who work for social justice to set up booths to share information with interested attendees. Don’t worry, we’ll still have a live band for those looking to loosen up their legs. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a 4th of July event without patriotic costumes, tasty summer treats, the Flying Dog beer garden, and our trademark “GrafFREEti” wall, featuring compositions by students of all ages of “What Freedom Means to Me.” The diverse post-race activities make this a fun-filled, inspirational event, allowing participants of all ages to come together and celebrate our freedoms.

For Runners:
Official Results, Awards Ceremony, Live Music by Hotcakes Dean & the Flapjacks, Post-race Munchies, Beer Garden

For Kids:
New Games: spoon & egg relay, sack races and more. Live music, family activities such as face painting

The GrafFREEti Wall:
Last year's wall totaled over 600 individual blocks, created by students all over the Denver Metro Area. The wall grows every year, as we save the best of years past.
