Are You Really an ACLU Member?

We appreciate the unstinting and ongoing support of so many of our supporters of the ACLU. However... many of you have inadvertently allowed your membership to lapse... or have never joined the ACLU! You will notice on the mailing label of the newsletter a date near your name. That date is your ACLU Membership Renewal Date. Please check to see that this date is in 2002; if it isn't, your ACLU membership has lapsed. If you see NO DATE at all, you have not officially joined ACLU. Many of our loyal and generous supporters have mistaken their gifts for membership dues for the ACLU.

Our membership dues, ranging from $5 per year for students, to $20 per year for individual memberships and $30 for joint memberships, are payable on your membership anniversary date each year. If you are not a member, we need you to join TODAY! Why? Because now, more than ever, we need you to elevate your commitment by becoming a card-carrying member of the ACLU. Your membership will provide us with important financial support to make the ACLU an even more potent force in Washington, DC and in state legislatures around the country.

If you have neglected to fill out a membership envelope - or your past membership has lapsed - please call us at (303) 777-2490 and ask to have a membership form sent to you. It is vitally important at this time that the ACLU be able to point to its full cadre of supporters. Please check your membership date now and, if necessary, re-join as a card-carrying member of ACLU today!
