ACLU of Colorado Member Orientation

  • Are you a new member in the ACLU?
  • Are you new to the Colorado affiliate of the ACLU?
  • Are you a current member, but not sure how to "plug in" to activities and volunteer opportunities?
  • Would you just like to know a bit more about how the ACLU of Colorado functions?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, please mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 10, 2002, and join us for our ACLU of Colorado Member Orientation! In a fun and lively hour and a half meeting you'll get to hear and talk to: our Executive Director, Sue Armstrong; ACLU of Colorado Staff; several ACLU of Colorado Board Members; Volunteer Committee Chairpersons; and other volunteer/activists.

Refreshments will be served and there will be time for informal one on one conversations and questions. If you have friends or acquaintances who may be interested in joining the ACLU, we encourage you to invite them also.

This meeting is a super way to meet and make friends with like-minded people, develop a feeling of being connected to your local affiliate and, if you choose, to select an area of interest in which you can volunteer and make a real difference. Your involvement has never been more needed, as our nation struggles to preserve Civil Liberties in the current climate of fear.
