Boulder County ACLU Chapter Elects Officers, Including New Chair and Spokesperson

BOULDER, CO – New officers have been elected by the Boulder County Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Colorado.
The new officers are Judd Golden chair; David Sonnabend vice-chair; Roger Worlock secretary; Michael Ruderman treasurer; and Gordon Gamm as representative to the Colorado Affiliate Board. The election by the chapter board of directors took place following a chapter-wide election for seven seats on the 13-member board. Officers are elected for one year terms.
The chair acts as spokesperson for the chapter on civil liberties issues in Boulder County. Barry Satlow is the outgoing chair, and remains a member of the board of directors. Incoming chair Golden previously served as vice-chair and chair.
The Boulder County ACLU is a chapter of the Colorado state affiliate of the ACLU, a non-profit, non-partisan public interest organization with over 1,700 members in the County. The Boulder County ACLU’s mission is to protect, defend, and extend civil liberties guaranteed by the Bill of Rights to the Constitution.
