    • Break Out Sessions
      • Bobby Clark – Progress Now
        • Online activism – Technology has changed grassroots organizing. Learn how to create political change online through blogs, emails activism and YouTube videos.
      • Dante James – Center for Progressive Leadership
        • Interactive session on creating and presenting your media message. Whether you are writing a letter to the editor, calling a radio talk show or speaking at a rally, this session will give the hands on training how to get your message across.
      • Faith Winter – The White House Project
        • How women can find their voices and affect the national security debate.
      • Jenny Flanagan – Common Cause
        • Contacting elected officials. Participants will gain a better understanding on how to best influence and build a relationship with their elected official through role-playing exercises.
      • Dusti Gurule – Latina Initiative
        • Take it to the streets. This will be an interactive session designed to help participants learn about or hone grassroots organizing skills.
  • 8:15-8:30 pm: Presentations/Wrap-up
