Make a Tax-Deductible Gift to the ACLU Foundation of Colorado
When you donate to the ACLU of Colorado, you show that freedom matters to you, and you make it possible for us to defend the Bill of Rights and individual liberties wherever they are threatened. Contributors in a position to make a larger contribution to the ACLU are encouraged to make that gift to the ACLU Foundation of Colorado, which allows them to take a tax-deduction for their support. The ACLU Foundation does not engage in any lobbying activities. The entire legal program, as well as our public policy, outreach and education programs are supported by gifts to the Foundation.

• Monthly or Quarterly Pledge – Consider donating on a scheduled basis by making a monthly or quarterly pledge online or via credit card. To make a pledge, simply fill out the Online Giving form or call us directly.
  
  
• Gifts of Stock or Securities – Because we are a nonprofit organization, giving the gift of appreciated stock, bonds or mutual funds can be an excellent option that enables you to take advantage of certain potential tax benefits. • Planned Gifts - Help secure the ACLU Foundation of Colorado’s future with a planned gift that has tax and income advantages now. Please contact our office and your attorney or estate planner for details about benefits to your estate of a planned gift. We will be happy to furnish you with information you need to include the Colorado ACLU Foundation in your will and other legacy plans.
  
  
• Workplace Campaigns - The ACLU Foundation of Colorado participates in Community Shares of Colorado (CSC), an annual fundraising drive by employees in their respective workplaces each year. Every year, these employees raise millions of dollars through these campaigns that benefit thousands of nonprofit charities. Please support programs and services in our community by designating the ACLU to receive your contribution. The ACLU does not currently participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) because of restrictive language that requires us to pry into our employees' private lives.
  
  
• Tattered Cover Give Back Program - Become a member of the Tattered Cover Give Back Program, for free, and the Tattered Cover will donate 1% of your purchases, before taxes, to the ACLU of Colorado.
