Membership
The ACLU is a membership organization. The ACLU of Colorado has over 11,000 members. ACLU membership automatically makes you a part of the national ACLU, as well as the Colorado affiliate and local chapters which currently exist in Boulder County , Colorado Springs/El Paso County, Weld County, CU College of Law and DU College of Law. The state affiliate and local chapters have numerous educational and social events throughout the year. The annual state-wide membership meeting is usually held in February, which includes election of officers and exciting educational programming. The Carle E. Whitehead Memorial Award Dinner, the major fund-raising event of the year, is held by the ACLU Foundation of Colorado in October.
