Portrait of Camille Moore, ACLU-CO legal intern

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Camille Moore graduated from Denver East High School where she played varsity lacrosse. Camille then attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where she graduated with bachelor’s degrees in both political science and ethnic studies. After graduating college, Camille canvassed for several organizations in pursuit of substantive change. She then underwent three consecutive major surgeries to assure she could attend law school at The University of Denver Sturm College of law (“DU”). Since beginning her law school career in 2020, Camille’s passion for community advocacy has led her to serve as President of the Black Law Student Association, and externing in the community engagement unit of the Office of the Colorado Attorney General. She will be working as a legal intern at the ACLU of Colorado in the summer of 2022.  After completing this summer program, she will spend the fall semester working in the Denver office of the law firm Lewis Brisbois. During her final year in law school, Camille will serve as the first Black President of the DU Student Bar Association.  Her overall career aspiration is to become Colorado’s first Black U.S Senator.
