Francesca Lipinsky DeGette, ACLU-CO legal intern

Francesca Lipinsky DeGette is a third-year law student at the University of Colorado. Francesca has a strong interest in civil rights and intends to focus her legal career on the needs of underserved Coloradans. Before starting law school, she was an investigator at Killmer, Lane & Newman. In addition to working with the ACLU, Francesca is a volunteer with the Korey Wise Innocence Project and is an editor on the Colorado Law Review. When she isn’t in class or analyzing cases, Francesca enjoys exploring the mountains with her dog, Sadie; playing her guitar; and reading novels.
