Miriam Noriega, Director of People and Culture (she/her)

Miriam’s passion for social justice derives from her personal experience of being a first-generation immigrant in the U.S. She was a youth leader in the immigrant rights movement since 2006, specifically the DREAMer movement, a historic youth-lead activist movement. Her role at ACLU-CO is to work with all the departments to implement their goals on Equity, Belonging, and Inclusion to the work of Human Resources, Staff Engagement, Professional Development, and other needed areas. She has leadership experience in non-profit organizations and developed racial equity practice, strategic planning, community-based leadership programs. Her goal is to build a support system for the ACLU organization;  this way, staff members work with the community is sustainable and makes an impact for the future generations.
