Nicole Loy is a paralegal for the ACLU of Colorado. Originally from Lima, Peru, Nicole has lived most of her adult life in Denver, Colorado. She graduated with her associate degree in Paralegal Studies from the Community College of Denver, furthering her education at the Metropolitan State University of Denver where she graduated with her bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and Criminology. Nicole is passionate about fighting for people’s civil liberties; before the ACLU, she worked in immigration law firms such as The Meyer Law Office, where she aided in defense of the immigrant community. In her free time, Nicole likes to spend time with her husband, Scott, her son, Logan, and her puppy, Leia.
