Laura joined the ACLU of Colorado as a staff attorney in Fall 2023 after completing a William J. Brennan fellowship at the ACLU Speech, Privacy, and Technology project. As a fellow, Laura worked on a variety of civil liberties issues, including challenging laws that restrict discussion of race and gender in schools, urging courts to suppress unconstitutionally obtained evidence, and protecting the right to access, use, and record public information online.

Laura received her J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she co-ran the Stanford Law and Technology Association and Housing Pro Bono Project. She earned an undergraduate degree in information science and linguistics from Cornell University, where she was a videographer and mascot. Laura enjoys music, waffle irons, and Amy Sedaris-inspired crafts.
