Last Sunday's Denver Post featured a column by ACLU of Colorado Executive Director, Nathan Woodliff-Stanley, written in response to the recent focus on parole reform by the newspaper and legislators. In the column, Woodliff-Stanley asserts that "true reform begins on the front end of the criminal justice system, by avoiding the high number of inmates that now burden our prisons and parole system."
