Conor Gleason was hired as an Immigrants' Rights Attorney at the ACLU of Colorado in May of 2026. Prior to joining the ACLU of Colorado, Conor focused on federal litigation as a Senior Attorney at the Meyer Law Office in Denver. Conor first moved to Colorado in 2021 to join the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network ("RMIAN") as a Senior Staff attorney, where he practiced removal defense and worked in habeas litigation. Before joining RMIAN, Conor was a supervising attorney in The Bronx Defenders’ immigration practice. He joined The Bronx Defenders as an attorney in 2012 and began supervising in 2015. While at The Bronx Defenders, Conor was one of four attorneys that spearheaded the New York Immigrant Family Unity Project, the first universal representation project in the United States for detained noncitizens.
Conor graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2012. Prior to law school, Conor lived in Ecuador for a little over a year and worked for almost three years as an Investigator in The Bronx Defenders’ criminal defense practice. Conor received his undergraduate degree from Colby College in Waterville, ME, graduating magna cum laude in 2005. Conor is admitted to practice law in New York, the Southern District of New York, the District of Colorado, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Conor is fluent in Spanish and enjoys being outside in his free time. He is humbled every day by the courage, wisdom, and strength of those facing removal. #FreeThemAll
