Denver City Council: Vote No on Flock Replacement
On March 23 at 5 p.m., Denver City Council will vote on a contract with Axon Enterprise as the Flock replacement for ALPR services. Help urge a NO vote on 26-0246.
The city of Denver recently announced they are moving away from Flock but bringing in a new company to keep the automatic license plate reader (ALPR) cameras on in the city which will be voted on March 23. Mayor Johnston created a surveillance task force to engage with when it comes ALPR technology in the city, yet he has repeatedly failed to include them in his conversations and decisions surrounding the companies that are, or will be, operating this technology in Denver.
