Bio
Vandana Koelsch brings together deep technical expertise and extensive litigation experience with strategic leadership in privacy, intellectual property, and appellate law. With degrees in Geology, with a minor in Physics (B.S., University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa), Hydrology (M.S., University of Arizona, Tucson), and Law (J.D., University of Colorado, Order of the Coif), she combines a strong scientific foundation with legal acumen. Her career spans high-profile courtroom advocacy, in-house counsel roles, and active contributions to legal ethics and professional development within the Colorado Bar.
Born in India and raised in northern Alabama after immigrating to the U.S. at age six—during a period of more open immigration policies—Vandana grew up as a person of color in a region still shaped by the aftermath of the civil rights movement. Navigating that landscape gave her an early, personal awareness of inequity and the importance of civic institutions in creating meaningful change. Those experiences continue to inform her commitment to fairness, integrity, and opportunity. She attributes her professional achievements to the access that immigration afforded her and takes great pride in being a naturalized U.S. citizen.
