The ACLU of Colorado is investigating the implications of severe and pervasive misconduct by a Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) senior DNA analyst, Yvonne “Missy” Woods, as well as CBI’s response to Ms. Woods’ misconduct.

We signed onto an amicus brief with the Office of Respondent Parents’ Counsel, Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition, and Disability Law Colorado urging the Colorado Supreme Court to hold that a parent does not waive her right to a jury trial by not appearing in court when her lawyer is present.

The ACLU of Colorado sued the City of Pueblo to stop enforcement of a harmful new law prohibiting the operation of syringe exchange programs (SEPs) within city limits.
