Lindsay Konkel, Board Member

Lindsay is from Denver. She grew up in Littleton and attended Columbine High School. After a short stint at Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, she returned home to care for her ailing grandmother and ultimately received her BSBA and MBA from the University of Denver. Lindsay and her husband, Tom, share a 12-year-old daughter, Sara, who was adopted from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Sara attends St. Vincent DePaul Catholic School in Denver. Tom has three sons and two granddaughters; all of whom live in Denver. Tom’s sons attended Regis High School and Tom coached lacrosse there for many years. Lindsay and Tom spend most of their time with family and friends and enjoy watching and playing sports of all kinds. 

In addition to serving on FAB with the ACLU of Colorado, Lindsay is currently engaged with the Denver Zoo as a member of the Leadership Council. The focus of this Council is to assist in fundraising and community outreach as well as to educate the community broadly about the zoo’s many conservation efforts and focus on animal welfare. Lindsay is currently a Managing Director with Ziegler specializing in providing commercial real estate loans for multifamily and seniors housing properties. She oversees loan production, underwriting, servicing and asset management of Ziegler’s FHA-insured loan business. 

Lindsay currently is the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, Senior Housing & Care Practice overseeing underwriting, servicing asset management of Ziegler’s FHA-insured loan business. Formerly worked as the Chief Operating Officer for PGIM Real Estate Finance, the principal asset management business for Prudential Financial, Inc.
