Desde 1952, ACLU de Colorado ha trabajado para preservar los derechos fundamentales de la Primera Enmienda de los habitantes de Colorado. Trabajamos por la preservación de la libertad de expresión en todos los ámbitos, incluyendo Internet, las escuelas, los desfiles y los mítines políticos. Antes de la Convención Nacional Demócrata de 2008, presentamos una demanda innovadora contra Denver y el Servicio Secreto para proteger los derechos de quienes deseaban reunirse públicamente y expresar sus opiniones durante la convención.
