Summary

Lobby Day is your chance to step directly into the legislative process and advocate face-to-face with lawmakers on the issues that matter most to our communities.

We’re excited to invite you to ACLU of Colorado’s annual Lobby Day on Tuesday, March 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., just across the street from the Colorado State Capitol.

Lobby Day is your chance to step directly into the legislative process and advocate face-to-face with lawmakers on the issues that matter most to our communities. This legislative session, ACLU of Colorado is fighting to:

  • Strengthen Fourth Amendment protections by prohibiting law enforcement from purchasing private data without a warrant.
  • Ensure parity in jail standards between municipal and city and county jails.
  • Rein in the discriminatory use of artificial intelligence.

Lobby Day is about more than policy - it’s about people power. Together we’ll show lawmakers that Coloradans are united in defending our civil rights and liberties.

No prior lobbying experience is required. We’ll provide training, support, and everything you need to feel confident advocating for change!
