ACLU of Colorado Condemns SCOTUS Ruling Against Colorado’s Ban on Conversion Therapy

An 8-1 ruling from the United States Supreme Court (SCOTUS) against Colorado's ban on conversion therapy on youth under the age of 18 could open the door to stripping protections away from LGBTQ+ youth in the country. The case now returns to the lower courts.

Colorado’s municipal jails should follow same standards as county jails

Coloradans have the right to safe, humane, and lawful jail facilities, regardless of where they’re held. However, the state law requiring jails in Colorado to meet those basic standards doesn’t apply to all the jail facilities in our state including the jail located in my home city of Aurora.
