Corporations increasingly use algorithmic decision systems (ADSs) to determine who gets a job interview, whether someone is chosen for housing, who gets a loan, admission into college, or how much they pay for rent and insurance. These systems can be inaccurate, biased, and opaque — and Coloradans currently have no guaranteed rights when ADSs are used against them.
